It's Britney, bitch. And she's back! After three years and much anticipation from fans, the Princess of Pop announced her new album on Twitter today. "#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era," the singer tweeted. "Available 8/26 on [AppleMusic]."

But Ms. Spears is no stranger to hitting refresh on her career and beginning a new era. After a difficult year (to put it lightly) in 2007, the star has never failed to return better than ever — again and again — to show the world that the original '00s diva is here to stay. In honor of Glory, check out our all-time favorite Britney comeback moments, ahead. She did it again!

Circus (2008)

Okay, so we all know 2007 was a rough year for Brit, between her divorce from Kevin Federline and her struggles with mental health. But in 2008, she showed the world her resilience, releasing her sixth studio album.

The sugary, pop confection was led by her infectious single "Womanizer" and the album release was followed by a comeback tour, The Circus Starring Britney Spears , which quickly became a fan-favorite. She performed at 100 venues around the world — and killed it at every single show.

Femme Fatale (2011)

This is the album that gave us a confident, grown-up Britney. A Britney who was comfortable in her own skin and wanted to dance 'til the world ends. We all cheered her on as she embraced a sultry house (but still pop-infused) sound and her own freedom.

X-Factor (2012)

Per usual, critics had much to say about Britney's role as a judge on X-Factor. And though she only lasted a year, it was delightful to have her in our living rooms each week. On the show, she seemed so much more lighthearted than she had just a few years before — she was fun, hilarious, and yes, maybe a little too nice and emotional. But that's just Britney, bitch.

Britney Jean (2013)

"You wanna...you wanna...you wanna hot body? / You better work, bitch." In 2013, we met sexy Brit Brit, a pop diva who was unapologetically sexy and proud of it.

Britney Jean gave us plenty of dance anthems, but also a vulnerable honest side, with ballads like "Perfume." ("Work Bitch," however, will forever be the song on our gym playlists.)

Piece Of Me Vegas Residency

On December 27, 2013, Britney launched the Vegas residency heard 'round the world. She wowed critics and fans alike with her greatest-hits show, bringing back the kind of classic moves fans had been craving since her "I'm A Slave 4 U" days. It could just be us, but we're pretty sure seeing her Vegas show is now a bucket-list staple for many music lovers. (And may have been what inspired fellow pop divas Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez to sign up for Vegas residencies of their own.)

Billboard Awards Performance (2016)

In May, Britney received the (much-deserved, in our opinion) Billboard Millenium Award. She hit the stage to perform a medley of her hits, from "Toxic" to "Breathe On Me" — and absolutely slayed. Like, the slayage was real, y'all. Our wigs were snatched so hard and we felt so proud, it almost brought tears to our eyes.

Glory (2016)

And now, drumroll, please: Britney is bringing us a new album on August 26. If the rest of Glory is anything like the sultry, midtempo first single, "Make Me," we have high hopes for Britney Jean's new "era." Hit us, baby, one more time.
