Biergartens (or beer gardens) are becoming more and more popular in New York due to their expansive and communal environment (a novel concept where space is at such a premium), great food, and, most importantly, beer. And since the Big Apple has so many spots to choose from, even those who say no to hops and ale will be sucked into these bustling scenes. From traditional German-style venues to trendy, reinvented joints, there's bound to be a biergarten for everyone.
We've mapped out a hit list for you, so scroll on through to find your new haus away from home.
