While we love summer, there’s something about fall that makes us feel all fuzzy inside — and, no, it's not just the return of PSLs and booties. We're talking about brand-spankin'-new beauty launches — in rich, moody shades indicative of the lowering temps. The hour has officially come, and it’s hard to contain our excitement.

As we say goodbye to summer Fridays and long weekend getaways, we think there's a silver lining here: a revamped beauty wardrobe. We dare you to experiment with your look (rosy shadow, anyone?) or toss your citrusy fragrance for a woodsy one. There are plenty of new skin-care innovations to coddle your sun-parched faces. And who can forget about all the game-changing hair products — including ones that will return your hair to its pre-summer state? Finally, there are jewel-toned and rose-gold items we're happy just staring at for extended periods of time.

Ahead, find 30 launches we're already loving, and prepare yourself for a full-on fall haul. It's time.

"I never thought of myself as someone to wear pink on my eyes — but this stick officially made me a convert. The warm, rosy hue looks incredible on green eyes — and I love tapping a bit on cheeks and lips for a cool monochrome look." — Cat Quinn, beauty director

Bite Multistick in Mascarpone, $24, available at Sephora.

"Slowly but surely, I'm turning into the fragrance hoarder on the beauty team, and I've been sniffing around trying to find my perfect fall scent. Dirty Velvet is a serious contender. With notes of pomelo, tobacco leaves, fig, and vetiver, it's a majorly sexy and mysterious little fragrance. It's inspired by the founder's favorite hotel in Paris, and it reminds me of a speakeasy lounge with velvet curtains, cigar smoke, and one too many martinis." — Maria Del Russo, beauty editor

Vilhelm Parfumerie Dirty Velvet, $245, available in November at Barneys New York.

"Not only is Kat Von D’s new Project Chimps Liquid Lipstick a beautiful shade of brick red, but 20% of the retail price will be donated to rehabilitating chimps and ending the use of medical testing on them.

"Kat Von D has been very vocal about the importance of cruelty-free and vegan makeup, and I personally love that she is fighting for awareness. That, and I already love her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, so a new shade was a welcome addition to my collection." — Mi-Anne Chan, beauty writer

Kat Von D Project Chimps Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, $20, available at Sephora.

"Possibly the most dreamy rose-gold shadow known to woman. It's shimmery, but in a sophisticated, sheen-of-color way. A definite makeup staple. NARS, let's make it 'permanent edition,' please. Okay, thanks, bye." — Megan McIntyre, beauty features director

NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Rigel, $29, available at NARS.

"The sheer version of this formula was my go-to this summer, but I'm welcoming a thicker texture for fall. The colors keep in line with Clinique’s typical bright range, bringing some of that vibrancy from the warmer months into the inevitable winter apocalypse." — Samantha Sasso, beauty editorial assistant

Clinique Pop Liquid Matte Lip Color and Primer, $18.50, available at Ulta Beauty.

"Another fruity-floral? I know, I thought the same, but this one is cool and slightly off in a way I can't quite put my finger on. It smells original despite having a bunch of notes I always love — jasmine, peony, ambroxan — and I wear it night and day." — Alix Tunell, senior beauty editor

Kenzo World Eau de Parfum 2.5 oz., $100, available at Bloomingdale's.

"I got an early sample of this concentrate, and in just a few weeks I have become totally hooked. It's light and gentle, and gives skin a fresh glow. Plus, it layers under other skin care and sunscreen well." — Lexy Lebsack, West Coast beauty editor

Aveda Tulasāra Bright Concentrate, $59, available at Aveda.

"Imagine being at a dark bar with a fireplace, a whiskey neat, and a hot date — and you get this fragrance." — Cat Quinn

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon, $85, available at Sephora.

"This blush shade is the kind of greige hue I’ve been dying to get my hands on this upcoming season. I think it flatters any nail shape and length, but never clashes with whatever other colors you’re wearing." — Samantha Sasso

Formula X #ColorCurators: Makeup by Rose XOXO Edition Nail Color, $12.50, available for a limited time at Sephora.

"Judging by the name alone, I thought I’d cringe at the smell of this fragrance. But after spritzing it on, I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist all day. After the basil scent faded, what was left was the subtlest, sweetest, musky aroma perfect for post-work dinner. I don’t think I’ll be able to put this stuff down come fall." — Samantha Sasso

Jo Malone Basil and Neroli Cologne, $130, available at Nordstrom.

"I've been completely sold on the idea of water essences lately, and one of my favorites is this new bottle from Jurlique. The key ingredient is marshmallow-root extract, which is known for improving skin's ability to retain moisture. But it also has notes of lavender, which is why I use it at night — it helps lull me to sleep. After cleansing, I shake a little bit of the liquid into my palms and press it onto my face. My skin looks glowing, hydrated, and more even — even after a particularly rough summer like this one." — Maria Del Russo

Jurlique Activating Water Essence, $55, available at Sephora.

"I have pretty frequent eczema flare-ups, and have struggled with finding an over-the-counter salve that keeps me from scratching and further irritating my skin. This balm from Farmacy has a slew of honey-derived ingredients, including amino acid-rich royal jelly and propolis, a natural antiseptic. The combination instantly moisturizes and calms my skin." — Mi-Anne Chan

Farmacy Honey Savior All-In-One Repair Salve, $34, available at Farmacy Beauty.

"I will never stop hoarding mascaras. Even when I find one I think I’ll stick with, I move on and have an affair with another. The newest addition to my collection? This volumizing version from Ciaté. I already have long lashes, but they’re never fluffy and thick on their own. This jet-black formula bulks them up and stays put all day." — Samantha Sasso

Ciaté London Wonderland Intensely Volumising Mascara, $22, available at Sephora.

"This creamy shadow is brand-new, but I've already waxed poetic about it online and to everyone who will listen. Why? Because it gives a soft, doe-eyed look (à la Sharon Tate) with barely any effort. Blend any hue from the matte range into your socket, add mascara, and you're done." — Lexy Lebsack

Giorgio Armani Beauty Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in 19 Taupe Smoke, $39, available at Giorgio Armani.

"The handle of this eyeliner is flexible, so you can bend it to get your desired angle. I can see how using the brush at an angle can help get crisp wings, but that's not what I really love about it.

"Rather than having a felt tip or paint-brush tip, this liner has a cushiony feel, which absorbs the perfect amount of product and applies it smoothly and evenly to my upper lashline. The formula is also incredibly long-lasting and matte, which means it will stay on my oily eyelids all day — even if I don’t use a primer!" — Mi-Anne Chan

Lancôme Grandiôse Bendable Eyeliner, $32, available at Sephora.

"I bought my first Chloé perfume in a Duty Free shop in France, and the addiction hasn’t faltered since. I’ve collected and sprayed every single one, so naturally, my newest interest is in Chloé Fleur. It's a mix of rose, verbena, and cherry blossom — a tangy and sweet scent that’s perfect for fall days." — Samantha Sasso

Chloé Fleur de Parfum, $105, available later in September at Sephora.

"Okay, to be fair I haven't actually tried this one, but IGK is the cool-kid salon of the moment and this texture paste has some serious potential (and glowing Sephora reviews). A one-and-done cream that can take your second- or third-day air-dried hair and make it look artfully disheveled in a DGAF way? Sounds like it was tailor-made for me." — Megan McIntyre

IGK Broken Dreams Texture Paste, $27, available at Sephora.

"My makeup goal has always been to keep things dewy and light. Cream compacts like this one are major and key for me, especially in the beginning of fall when I can’t quite let go of my summer spray tan yet. The highlighter and blush provide just the right touch of glow, even when you aren’t leaving the beach." — Samantha Sasso

Honest Beauty Spotlight + Strobe Kit $34, available at Ulta Beauty.

"I love layering perfume, but I admit it can easily go awry. This oil-based fragrance, however, makes it super-simple; the light scent goes with most perfumes and soaks into skin to create a base. Mist it onto skin, allow it to soak in, then top with your go-to scent to create a refreshed version of your signature smell." — Lexy Lebsack

Maison Martin Margiela Replica Filter: Glow, $55, available at Sephora.

"One end is a sheer, strawberry balm; the other is a rich, pink matte. Together, it's the most versatile, transformative tool in my makeup purse — and just look at that adorable packaging." — Cat Quinn

Sonia Rykiel x Lancôme Parisian Lips Le Crayon in French Sourire, $29, available at Lancôme.

"Gloss has been back for a few months now, but I’m thinking it’ll make its way into the next couple of seasons, too. This vampy version is great for a Saturday night." — Samantha Sasso

Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in Poison, $20, available at Tarte.

"I recently dyed my hair from bleach-blond back to my natural brown shade, and let's just say my strands have seen better days. That's why I'm doubling down on hydrating products, like this deep-treatment mask from Shu Uemura's latest collection. After just one use, my hair felt closer to my original texture — manageable, soft, and supple. I'll be raking this stuff through my hair weekly until the effects of the bleach have been fully exorcised." — Maria Del Russo

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Urban Moisture Hydro-Nourishing Deep Treatment, $68, available in September at Shu Uemura.

"My hair dries naturally straight with a bit of a wave, but tends to fall flat. This spray really adds the lift and texture I need without feeling sticky or gritty." — Samantha Sasso

Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast, $29, available at Sephora.

"I've recently become a hair-oil convert — bleaching the living shit out of your hair will do that to a girl — and this is by far my favorite. It's moisturizing enough to use as a pre-shampoo treatment, but light enough that I can use it on my superfine hair without sacrificing my style." — Megan McIntyre

Reverie Ever Recovery Hair Oil, $52, available at SpaceNK.

"This mask is like a reset button for your face. It re-texturizes, brightens, and gives me that glow-from-within look. It smells like a farmers' market, and the scrub is so gentle that it never irritates my sensitive skin." — Samantha Sasso

Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask, $62, available at Sephora.

"It's amazing how much of a difference the right mascara brush makes. By now, I've tested enough to realize I should never stray from a rubber one with teeny bristles. It's the only one that never gives my lashes clumps and separates them perfectly evenly. Plus, this formula dries quickly and doesn't rub off on my lids like most." — Alix Tunell

Smith & Cult Lash Dance Mascara, $28, available later in September at Smith & Cult.

"RMS Beauty is one of my favorite brands in the business, and when founder Rose-Marie Swift pulled out these new-to-market eyeshadows, I instantly fell in love. The collection includes all manner of nudes, neutrals, and muted pastels. I love this pink-y tone from the Garden Rose trio. Worn dry, it offers just the lightest rose tint. But for a more amplified effect, just add a bit of water." — Maria Del Russo

RMS Beauty Swift Shadows in Garden Rose 19, $20, available at RMS Beauty.

"This shine-enhancing cream is perfect for that sexy, slicked-back wet look Kim K. rocks so well. But even better? It moisturizes your hair as you wear it. I like to work a fat glob through my mid-lengths and ends, and tie my hair into a bun for a full-day treatment." — Cat Quinn

R+Co High Dive Moisture + Shine Cream, $27, available at R+Co.

"Expect to see me wearing this opaque, rose-gold shade all fall long. Even better? Smith & Cult's polishes last so long, I can get through my entire workweek without worrying about chipped nails." — Samantha Sasso

Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer in 1972, $18, available later in September at Smith & Cult.

"Highlighting or coloring your hair for the first time? Then you know that eight weeks in, things can get a little drab. This mist brightens blond and makes colors pop — and all you have to do is mist it into wet or dry hair." — Lexy Lebsack

Christophe Robin Brightening Hair Finish Lotion with Fruit Vinegar, $48, available at Sephora.

"I went absolutely crazy when I first discovered Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray, so I was dying to try their version of a dry shampoo. While there are so many on the market now (including a lot of great ones), I love that this one makes my fine hair feel full and feathery — never sticky." — Samantha Sasso

Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo, $44, available later in September at Oribe.

"If something is small, cute, and fits in my apartment, then I adore it. This Buttercup mini is perfect for when I go to my parents' house on the weekends, or when I need to blowdry my hair in my tiny bathroom." — Samantha Sasso

Drybar Baby Buttercup, $135, available at Drybar.

"I've been using this all over my face in place of primer or mixing it in with my foundation on mornings my skin looks particularly dull or tired and it makes all the difference. When I want a more subdued glow, I just put a drop on my finger and run it across my cheekbones." — Alix Tunell

Giorgio Armani Armani Prima Day Long Skin Perfector Trouble Zones, $100, available at Giorgio Armani.
