This weekend, Jennifer Lopez will be celebrating her 47th birthday. Yes, you read that number right. Kind of unbelievable, considering she doesn't look a day over 30 — I mean, have you seen her Vegas performance?! We'll take whatever potions she's using, please and thank you.

In honor of the star's big day, we decided to take a trip down beauty memory lane. Ahead, we highlight some of her best makeup and hair looks throughout her career. As you might expect, they only get better with time.

Click through to see how she evolved from a bare-faced '90s cutie to a glamorous, smoky-eyed diva. Happy birthday, J.Lo!

Jennifer Lopez came to the scene in a quintessentially '90s way: rocking "The Rachel" haircut.

Along with Chilli from TLC, J.Lo was all about embracing the baby hairs.

The 2000s called for blond highlights — and lots of highlighter. Shine on, girl.

Lopez was all about the big-hair-don't-care trend in the early 2000s.

Rosy-pink cheeks and a full, wavy ponytail make for the pairing of our princess dreams.

The star's first major hair transformation — a long bob — happened in 2005, for the premiere of Monster-in-Law.

It's a tough call, but this 2006 moment might be one of our favorites. Her golden pony perfectly complements her sun-kissed skin, and we're not mad at the reddish-blond dye job on her eyebrows, either. (Now there's a sentence we never thought we'd type.)

The same year, Lopez pulled a fast one on us and went over to the dark side.

No beauty evolution is complete without a bangs test-drive. Lopez's happened in 2009.

Scarlet-red lips and dewy skin looked stunning with Lopez's Gucci dress at the 2011 Met Gala.

The year 2011 brought us showgirl J.Lo, complete with smoky eyes, ultra-long extensions, and sparkle galore.

This combo of inky, kohl liner and red-wine lipstick is a close second on our favorite-look list.

How J.Lo manages to look chic, not extra-terrestrial, with this tight knot is beyond us.

The year 2014 called for slicked-back hair and her signature eye makeup.

Lopez switched things up in a big way here and went for copper lids and lips.

Classic, screen-siren glamour is the name of her game in 2016.

Faux, clumpy lashes and #TBT brown lipstick lend a '90s feel.

And finally, J.Lo today, looking as beautiful as ever.
