15 Things You Should Be Buying At Wegmans

Wegmans is a supermarket wonderland where everyone is always nice, the employees are always in a good mood, and the food is always top notch. (There's a reason it beat out Trader Joe's for the top ranking in the country this year.) Those in the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions might already know about its reputation for high quality food and wallet-friendly prices. But if you’re not familiar with the chain, it’s basically a mashup of Whole Foods’ fresh prepared foods; Trader Joe’s quirky, international vibe; and a normal supermarket store where you can get Cheerios and like, Advil. It’s all three things at once, which makes it better than basically any other store on the planet (not to be hyperbolic).

It’s hard to narrow down our favorite food items, especially when we have an entire kitchen filled with them, but these products rise to the top due to their snackability, versatility, and low price point.

Okay, let’s dive in.

Toscana Wood-Fired Crust Pizza

We can’t stop freaking out about the new line of frozen wood-fired pizzas. Our favorite is the Toscana, a red pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and red onions, because it comes with a little packet of spicy oil to drizzle on top.

White Chocolate Toffee Mega Chunk Cookies

Even if you don’t love white chocolate and if you’re not a huge toffee fanatic, when they come together in cookie-form, they blow all the other cookies out of the water. Beware, because these bad boys are downright addictive.

Tom Tom Sauce

This jar of spicy Szechuan garlic sauce is new to Wegmans aisles, but it’s quickly become a staple in our pantry. Just a teaspoon or two adds zip to our stir-fries or marinades.

Wholesum Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt Bar

This is Wegmans knock-off version of the popular whole-nut bars, but it’s more affordable and just as tasty, in our opinion.

Organic Unrefined Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Whether we’re baking, sautéing, or just want to enhance our beauty routine (coconut oil makes an excellent eye-makeup remover), we always grab a tub of this stuff.

Red Chile Sauce

A few tablespoons of this red sauce bumps up your Mexican dishes from “good” to “hot damn!” It’s marketed as an enchilada sauce, but we drizzle it on our tacos and just about everything else.

White Cheddar Pierogies

It’s like a hug in potato, cheddar, and dough form. We fry them in butter when we want to go to our happy place.

California Skinny Roll

There's a robust selection of sushi in all sorts of preparations, but we always gravitate towards these crabmeat- and avocado-only rolls. We wish they weren't called "skinny," but we love that they're stuffed to the brim, with way more meaty filling than your typical lunchtime sushi.

Thai Style Red Curry Chicken

When we’re in a rut with our microwave meals, we reach for this. And at $4.99 a pop, it’s way cheaper than Thai takeout.

Singapore Noodle with Chicken & Shrimp Asian Bowl

The bouncy shrimp and tender chicken in this fresh noodle bowl make the dish a standout. A spin in the microwave brings the curry noodles back to life and makes for a satisfying meal.

Roasted Chipotle Salsa

This smoky chipotle salsa will take your nachos to the next level. And at $2.99 a bottle, you won’t break the bank.

Black Cherry Vanilla Sparkling Water

We’re fans of this entire fancy seltzer line — the coconut lime seltzer is perfect for summertime. And the black cherry vanilla seltzer hits the spot when you’re itching for soda but don’t want the sugary buzz.

Organic Rosemary Olive Oil Artisan Rolls

You may not think you’d need frozen rolls in your life, but once you try these, it’ll all make sense. Toss a few in the oven for fresh baked bread with dinner, or warm one up and stuff it with organic turkey slices for a quick sandwich.

S'Mores Premium Ice Cream

With marshmallow-flavored ice cream, marshmallow ripples, graham cracker swirls, and milk chocolate bits, one spoonful takes you to s’more heaven (where it's totally acceptable to polish off a pint in one sitting).

Spicy Green Sriracha Sauce

Instead of using hot red peppers like its traditional sibling, green sriracha is made with tomatillos, jalapeños, and cilantro. A squeeze adds a bright acidic kick to turkey burgers, soups, and vinaigrette (or pretty much anything you can think of).
