Benefit Just Upped The Brow Game In A Major Way

It's hard not to associate Benefit with brows. Aside from a cult-favorite product line, the brand has also carved out a niche for itself with its brow bar — a destination for gals to get their sets groomed to perfection. And while Benefit has offered a few brow products in the past, it's now fully dealt itself into the game. The brand is releasing a collection of arch-specific products this July — and it's insanely comprehensive.

Benefit has pulled out all the stops with this line. It contains everything for every level of brow enthusiast — whether you're a newbie looking for an easy-to-use tint or an expert in need of an entire kit. Some of Benefit's fan-favorite products are still here — like the award-winning Gimme Brow Eyebrow Gel (repackaged and rounded out with some new shades). But customers will also see new-to-market products.

Don't just take our word for it. We handed over Benefit's entire line to brow expert Bob Scott and asked him to use it for a week. Ahead, see the entire collection and read Scott's expert reviews. We see some killer brows in your future, and it's all thanks to Benefit.

Not into fully filled-in brows? This tint is for you. Instead of depositing color, 3D Browtones adds subtle highlights to your natural brows to give them dimension. You could pair it with a brow pencil, but the results are more apparent when you use it on its own.

Benefit 3D Browtones, $24, available in July at Benefit.

Say hello to the new and improved Gimme Brow. This award-winning tint is getting a new shade. According to Scott, if you're looking to build the product, wait a minute between coats to get the thickness you want.

If a gel formula is what you're after, Benefit has you covered. Ka-Brow! contains an angled brush (which converts to full-size) along with a gel formula. Flick the brush across your brows to help fill them in. This stuff is buildable, but be careful — a little goes a long way.

Benefit now offers a specially formulated primer that not only helps your product stay, but nourishes and conditions brows. "I was pleasantly surprised by this," Scott says. "You do have to give it a full minute, but after that you can build a good brow." He says it's particularly great for those with thin, patchy sets. "It will help you create more hair-like strokes with your product," he explains.

Benefit Browvo! Conditioning Primer, $28, available in July at Benefit.

Behold: a highlighter specifically formulated for your browbone. Scott says this is his favorite product in the line. "It's great under the browbone for a crisp line and highlight," he says. "I would blend over it with the same highlight you use on your cheeks to keep your makeup cohesive." He says it's perfect if you're regrowing hairs under your arches and need to mask them while your new brows take shape. "This product is a winner," he adds.

Benefit High Brow Glow, $22, available in July at Benefit.

Brow Zings is getting a makeover, as well as three new shades and a new brush. Scott says the powder on its own has incredible hold, while the wax is a great tint for someone whose brows are already quite full. "I wouldn't recommend using the wax and powder together," he advises. "Wax isn't the best base for the powder, and the powder isn't the best base for the wax. But separately, they are great."

Benefit Brow Zings, $32, available in July at Benefit.

For the pencil portion of the collection, Benefit has released a cool duo: an ultra-fine version and a thicker, angled one. "The only real difference between these two pencils is the shape of the applicator," Scott notes. He says he prefers the thinner one, cheekily dubbed Precisely, My Brow Pencil. "The formula seems to be part powder, part gel, and it holds on well without a primer," he says. But go ahead and try them to see which one suits you best.

Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil, $22, available in July at Benefit; Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil, $24, available in July at Benefit.

To round out the line, Benefit has released a long-wear, invisible setting gel. There you go — everything your brows could possibly need, in one collection.

Benefit Ready, Set, Brow!, $24, available in July at Benefit.
