Whether she's getting inked or changing her hair color for the umpteenth time, Kylie Jenner has a dynamic beauty history — one that's been well-documented on this site. But nothing has caused more of a frenzy than the social media star's coveted lips — and the shades with which she adorns them. Case in point: Jenner's sold-out Lip Kit and gloss collections.
When Jenner first launched her line of liquid lipsticks and matching lipliners last November, the entire stock of product sold out immediately, and dozens began to resurface on eBay for more than 10 times their original price. The online explosion occurred once again when Jenner dropped her trio of glosses last week — they retail for $15 each on her website.
We're not at all surprised by the popularity of Jenner's cosmetics debut, not only because of her star power but also because of the quality of the products. The Lip Kit shades — there are now 11 — are trendy but wearable, and the formula is opaque and long-lasting.
Unfortunately, all of Jenner's shades are still out of stock, but you can follow Kylie Cosmetics' Instagram account to keep tabs on the supply (or hop on her app for first dibs on restock information). If you simply cannot wait to start sporting the hues, however, we've gathered a few alternatives that could pass for the real deal. Check 'em out, ahead.
If you were one of the lucky few to get your hands on Kylie's products, we applaud you. (And here are some pointers on nabbing sold-out products, straight from the pros.) If not, don't worry: We've scoured the liquid-lipstick, gloss, and pencil markets for some other options that come pretty damn close.

Not only are Jouer's new Lip Crèmes some of our favorite liquid-lipstick formulas (they last for hours without drying out our lips), but one shade in the lineup — Praline — is an extremely close match to Jenner's pale pink-gold hue Heir.
Unfortunately, nearly every shade of Jouer's liquid lipsticks is sold out as well. But according to representatives of the brand, the lippies will be back in stock in mid-May.

Milani's new collection of metallic liquid lipsticks (which launches May 1) boasts a host of colors that could pass as Jenner hues. This one in particular, Chromatic Addict, is a gorgeous true gold that's extremely similar to King K.

Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss in Tara might tide you over until you can nab Jenner's tube. The brown shade has the same warm tones as Like, with just as much pigmentation.

Nyx Cosmetics' Xtreme Lip Cream packs one helluva punch where pigmentation is concerned. Plus, the shade Skin Tone (a warm brown-beige) is a close match to Jenner's Literally and will literally only set you back $3.

Jenner created Kourt K because her millions of fans requested a deep purple hue. The shade launched last week and — you guessed it —sold out. For those of you who didn't score one (let's be real, who did?), this shade by MAC has a very similar vibe, especially when layered over a matching lip liner like Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in Obsession.

We're used to seeing Jenner sporting deep brown and nude shades, so when she launched 22 (a vibrant burnt orange) last month, we were happily surprised. For those of you looking to don a similar hue, Ofra's Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Surfers Paradise is a near perfect match for Jenner's own lipstick. Although the whipped texture of Ofra's version makes it super easy to apply, layering Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Liner Vintage Coral on top will help you achieve even cleaner lines.

After seeing Jenner don brown lipstick on countless occasions, we were very excited to see that she created a chocolate shade of her own. This shade was the first of Jenner's Valentine's Collection to be announced to the public. Jenner held a contest on her Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account asking fans to help her name the lipstick. Sadly, the names we threw into the hat — "Mmm k" and "K" — were not chosen, and Jenner ultimately chose "Posie K" (which we will admit is pretty fitting). Nyx Cosmetic's Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague is a comparable (albeit slightly brighter) shade, as is Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Cheat in Crazy In Love.

Jenner's Mary Jo K, which she named after her grandmother, is a classic bright red that really rounds out the collection (everyone needs a go-to red lippie, right?). For super-clean lines, we suggest lining your lips with Gwen Stefani's classic red lipliner from Urban Decay) before applying the liquid lipstick over top.
